Gaby Lopez and Nasa Hataoka will continue their playoff showdown with a sixth extra hole when play resumes Monday morning in the season-opening Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions at Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

Lopez of Mexico and Hataoka of Japan remained even after five extra holes when play was suspended because of darkness Sunday evening. Each player recorded five straight pars on the par-3 18th hole.

"Yeah, it's really hard to read the greens," Hataoka said of the darkness. "So we just finished."

The duo rallied Sunday to overtake South Korean Inbee Park, who headed into the final round with a two-stroke advantage. Park, who shot even-par 71, finished tied at 13-under-par 271 with Lopez and Hataoka, but she was eliminated after finding water on the third extra hole.

Hataoka shot 68 in regulation, while Lopez shot 66, with two birdies in her final three holes, including one at the 18th.

"I told myself that I was prepared for any scenario," Lopez said afterward. "So either I had to do a playoff, or if I came second or third, I was mentally prepared for any scenario. I feel that that's the case, that I'm mentally prepared for whatever happens tomorrow is going to be fine."

Mi Jung Hur of South Korea, who tied the low round of the tournament with a 63, and Brooke Henderson of Canada (67) finished tied for fourth at 12 under for the tourney. American Annie Park took sole possession of sixth place after shooting 74 and finishing at 11 under.

The rest of the top 10 included a tie for seventh between American Lexi Thompson (68) and South Korean Sei Young Kim (72) at 10 under, while France's Celine Boutier (71) was ninth at 9 under and America's Nelly Korda (67) was 10th at 8 under.

Former Major League pitcher John Smoltz finished 6 under to win the celebrity division for the second year in a row.
